Dear Readers,
I went into Our Vicious Oaths not really knowing what to expect, because this was my first time stepping into fantasy. And honestly? I loved it more than I thought I would.
It felt like Game of Thrones met Bridgerton—power, tension, desire… all layered together. There’s slaying, there’s spice, there’s love, and at the center of it all is a wedding that could either unite or completely destroy everything. I won’t tell you which. You’ll have to read that yourself.
Once it pulled me in, it didn’t let go. Maybe it was the pressure of reading it in 24 hours for book club, or maybe it was just that good, but I couldn’t stop turning the pages.
The character development was chef’s kiss. No clear favorite. No easy loyalty. Malachi stood firm in his power, while Kadeesha carried something quieter, more complicated. They both showed up in their roles. Fully.
And Kadeesha… she tried to hold onto anger when those royal oaths started to crack, but you could feel it slipping. Like she wasn’t fully prepared for what it meant to actually live inside the choices being made for her. One night, one shift, and suddenly everything she thought she understood about her future—especially with Rishaud—didn’t feel as certain.
This story lives in loyalty and betrayal. Not just the obvious kind, but the kind that builds slowly. The kind that forces you to ask what you’d actually do if survival was on the line.
And that’s really what did it for me …
Not the fantasy. Not even the romance.
But the question underneath it all—what are you willing to hold onto when everything starts to fall apart?
Just read it.

The Letters
